Best Ways to Take It
With Warm Water (Simplest)
The most straightforward method. Dissolve your serving in a cup of warm water and drink. The taste is earthy and mineral-rich — an acquired taste that most people grow to appreciate.
With Warm Milk & Honey (Traditional)
The classic Ayurvedic method. Dissolve in warm milk (dairy or plant-based) with a teaspoon of honey. The milk enhances absorption, and the honey makes the taste more pleasant. This is an excellent nighttime ritual.
With Tea or Coffee
Add your serving to your morning tea or coffee. The strong flavour of the drink masks Shilajit's mineral taste. Just ensure the liquid isn't boiling — warm is ideal.
With Golden Milk
For a powerful combination: warm milk + turmeric + a pinch of black pepper + Shilajit + honey. This traditional recipe combines Shilajit's mineral benefits with turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties.
When to Take It
- Morning (recommended): On an empty stomach, 30 minutes before breakfast. This maximises absorption and sets your energy for the day.
- Before a workout: 30–45 minutes before exercise for enhanced endurance and stamina.
- Evening: With warm milk before bed for recovery and deeper sleep.
- During Ramadan: With your Suhoor meal for sustained energy throughout the fasting day.
